PING and response times

To check the ping to betfair:

Download Microsoft PsTools suite from https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/bb896649.aspx

Once installed, open a command prompt and run the PsPing tool. Use the following command line to test the connection with betfair:

psping -n 20 api.betfair.com:443

It is also prudent to check your overall broadband performance. A good site is www.netmeter.co.uk. Some people do not have Java active so packet loss cannot be checked. This is a personal choice, we generally activate it for the test but will leave you to decide on its use. For standard speed test and Ping on your connection, you can use www.speedtest.net
